Thomas Chilvers and Mary Powell married 1625 and in Swaffham had: Alice 1629, Thomas 1632, Mary 1634, Ann 1636, Anthony 1641.  

Robert Chilvers and Ann in Swaffham had: Tytas 1648, Samuel 1652, Rebeckah 1655, "Female" 1656, Robert 1663.

Thomas Chilvers and Margery in Swaffham had: John 1657.

Samuel Chilver, tanner, of Swaffham. left an inventory in 1630/31.

John Chilvers and Jane Balles of Swaffham were married in 1671. There being no settled minister at Swaffham.

HOW WE USED TO LIVE - Family History

CHILVERS - Chilvers is the name of a parish in Warwickshire, but as a surname it is seems more common in East Anglia, with some of the earliest Norfolk records at Swaffham. This name appears twice among ancestors of the Gilding family.
