THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - There is an actual age for Edward Ramm on his burial record but no sign of any baptism. Having found the family of his wife, Jane, it seems the following children's forenames used above feature in her family: Rose, William, John and Susanna. This probably means Ruth and Alice were named for members of the Ramm family. There was a Ruth Ramm in 1739 marrying a James Clarke in Stibbard but there is no baptism for her either and there was a Rose Ramm buried in the same parish in 1742. James Clarke, husbandman of Stibbard, left a will 1783 and Ruth Clarke an administration in 1791. There were a few other Ramms in that parish too. Edward Ramm was stated in the Barney register to have been a pauper when buried so there is no will to find for him.

At Fakenham a Thomas Ramm and Margaret (Dunn) (She was dau. of Christopher and Margaret Dunn and had a sister Susanna.) married in 1748 and baptised a son Thomas the same year, followed by Rice 1750, Susanna 1753, and Christopher 1755. At Wells they baptised Henry in 1757, and Christopher in 1765. Margaret was buried in 1765 as was Christopher. At Holkham Thomas Ram widower of Wells married Alice Yarham widow in 1766. Her former husband was Joshua Yarham, baptised in 1717 at Little Walsingham son of Roger Yarham and Ann.
