1684 28th September. Married MARTHA BAGLEY, both of the parish, at Little Massingham.

1727 1st December. Burial of wife Martha at Little Massingham.

JOHN SHALL 1690 Baptised on the 31st of August at Little Massingham.

 

WILLIAM SHALL 1697 Baptised on the 28th of March at Little Massingham.

1697 6th April. Burial at Little Massingham.

 

CATHERINE SHALL 1700 Baptised on the 29th of December at Little Massingham.

1718 26th October. Married Andrew Chilvers at Swaffham.

Children: William Chilvers 1722, Thomas Chilvers 1724, Penelope Chilvers 1726, John Chilvers 1729, Daniel Chilvers 1736, Daniel Chilvers 1739, George Chilvers 1741, Ann Chilvers 1744.

Christopher Herring of Siderston single and Mary Shaw single married at Houghton 1688.

Baptised at Houghton: Elizabeth 1693, Mary 1694, Elizabeth 1698, Anne 1700, Francis 1702, plus more.

 

Francis Boston and Alice Shaw married 17th Oct. 1697 at Houghton.

Baptised at Houghton: Edmund 1699, Mary 1701, plus other children.

 

John Dolman widower, of Houghton, married Elizabeth Shaul, of Anmeare, at Houghton 1681.

Children baptised at Houghton: Elizabeth, Mary, Elizabeth, Anne, John, Johan (f), Samuel, Agatha and Thomisin. John Dolman, yeoman, left a will. NCC 1727 Im. 206. listing all his children and a wife Mary. Wife Elizabeth was buried at Houghton in 1705. - Elizabeth was possibly another sister.

Edmont son of Dan and Marey Shaul bap. 1657.

Margrett daughter of Dan and Mary Shaul bap. 1659.

There are no records kept at Houghton from 1660 to 1676.

William son of Dan and Mary Shaul bap. 1677 bur. 1677.

Mary wife of Dan Shaw buried 1686.

Dan Shaw bur. 1707. There is a will for Daniel Shaw of Houghton. 1708-1709 ANF fo.32 no.28.

Edmund Shaw married Sarah 1687.

Bap. Edmond son of Edmond and Sarah Shaw in 1689. Bur 1691 (father Edmund Shaw, junior).

Bap. Robert 1691, Anne 1693, Sarah 1695, Margaret 1696-1687, David 1697, Margaret 1698, Alice 1701, Edmond 1704, Mary 1708, all children of Edmund and Sarah Shaw.

Edmund Shaw buried in 1720.

 

Edmund Shawl buried 1726, aged about 100.

Will: 1727, Edmund Shall, mariner, of Brancaster. Sons John (wife Margaret) and Edmund. Children of son John: Priscilla, Clemence and Sarah. Proved by Margaret daughter in law of Edmund.

 

There are more Shall families along the Norfolk coast.
