THERE IS FURTHER RESEARCH TO DO - Third wife of Edmund Turner, Sybil, the widow of Edmund Reeve or Reve, had given birth to at least ten Reeve children during their marriage between 1624 and 1640: Mary, John, David, Richard, Katherine, Thomas, Edmund, Mirabel, Edmund and Robert. Edmund Reeve, senior was buried in 1662.

 

Fourth wife of Edmund Turner, Elizabeth, was the third wife of George Baxter. They had had at least five Baxter children between 1664 and 1675: John, Edmund, John, Matthew and Mary.

 

There is a baptism of a Mary Carter in 1647, daughter of William and Grace, at Hettersett, who could have been wife number five. William and Grace also had a John in 1643. There were very few people with the Carter surname in the Swainsthorpe area.
